The book says that there are already too many misfortunes in
the world, and what we need to do is to find one lucky reason to smile among
the countless reasons for unhappiness. Suddenly remembering the unfinished
math homework, I rushed to my desk and looked at the two densely packed test
papers, feeling dizzy. But I couldn't afford not to study, so I sat at the
desk and quietly wrote. There were many difficult questions, and
occasionally I looked up at myself in the mirror, and suddenly realized that
at some point, my expression had become so wooden. I tried my best to force
a smile, but the corners of my mouth just wouldn't go up. Helplessly shaking
my head, I continued to write with my head down. When did it start? A smile,
the most powerful expression, is not so easy to keep.
"Dinner is ready!" My mother stuck her head out of the kitchen, and the
smell of cooking oil immediately wafted out. I sneezed a few times and
complained, "Why didn't you turn on the exhaust fan?" No one answered,
probably because they didn't hear me. "Spinach porridge?" My father asked.
"Hmm, I forgot to buy noodles. Let's just make do with this," my mother
replied.
I ate by myself, listening to my father talking about another country's war,
feeling even more bored. I kept stirring the green porridge with my
chopsticks, and suddenly, something slid by the edge of my chopsticks. I
took a closer look: it was a green spinach heart! I don't know if it was
intentionally cut or naturally formed, but the small spinach heart showed
overlapping patterns like a rose, like a beautiful flower that matches an
exquisite outfit, extremely beautiful. I was extremely surprised. I never
thought that a spinach heart could be so beautiful! The corners of my mouth
curved into a smile, and I felt an indescribable sense of joy and
satisfaction in my heart. Even vegetables know that we must face life
beautifully and happily. No wonder someone said that as long as we have a
heart, we can always find a reason to smile, which is the simplest, most
beautiful, and warmest thing in the world.
In fact, a smile does not need too many reasons. As long as you love others
and love life, you will surely smile. After all, life is not always smooth
sailing, there will always be some difficulties, and we can lose everything,
but we must never lose our smile - the most important seasoning in life. No
matter how busy or tired life may be, I will always find a reason to smile
deeply. |
