I dread getting ___1___

usual first day of school, I am not really looking
forward to it. Why ? Well, this is because it is my

I wish my old friends were with me. However, I know
the chance of meeting them is slim for I have
shifted to the eastern part of Singapore. My home is

I know that the biggest challenge for me is to
fit in. My mother says that secondary school life
will be tough. She says I will meet many students
with differing interests and find friends that I

I drag my feet to school. I have been there once ___7___.
It is a cold uninviting building that is ten times
bigger than my small, cozy primary school. I sigh

the school compound, thinking that I will never be

"Hellos, Rachel ! Nice to see you !" I look up,
quite surprised to hear my name. I break into a
