The school's dance society tryouts ___1___
announced last month. Since the announcement, my
sister had helped me prepare for it every single day ___2___
fail. The tryouts were held last Sunday afternoon.
Twelve students from Primary Six tried out for the

there were vacancies for only seven of us. I knew I
had worked as hard if not harder ___4___
all the other students in preparing for the tryouts.
After all, I was known to have two left feet !

a pretty decent effort at the tryouts but I was a
nervous wreck on Saturday night and Sunday morning
waiting for the team list to be ___7___
on the school's website.

that fateful Sunday afternoon, my parents booted ___9___
my trusty old laptop and checked the school website.
I was exhilarated when I saw my name was on the
list. I knew from that day on, things would never be
the same again.
We went to an ice cream parlor to celebrate my
success. I ate so much that I was afraid that I
