People also believe that yawning is associated with boredom. For example, during a monotonous and dull lesson, you may feel bored to tears. At that time, you are likely to yawn very often.

Yawning can also be contagious. Have you ever had the experience of a long wait at the doctor's clinic ? During the wait, someone may give a long, tired yawn. When this occurs/happens, other people in the room may start to yawn too.
